SPORTS! Check out the SJ Giants or the Sabercats

Movies at AMC Mercado on 101 near Great America for 20 screens

Gilroy Shopping Outlets – take 101 south and follow the signs.

Great America – everyone needs a great amusement park visit!

Vasona Park – pack a lunch, bring extra bread for the ducks and rent a boat to go out on the water.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Do not miss this!

Hakone Gardens in Saratoga – another beautiful garden to visit

Sanborne Park – depending on what time of year you would see an outside Shakespeare performance under the stars.

Cesar Chavez Park – play in the fountains out in front of the Fairmont downtown. Coming soon are weekly free concerts out there as well.
