    @yrbabuena If you had read the description, you would have known it was a stranded pup. They didn’t just take it in for no reason. And the Monterey Aquarium isn’t for-profit, like sea world (thay whale incident *was* horrible). Although they both have captive animals, their reasons or having them aren’t exactly the same.

    How sad that it is now in an aquarium. Does it really have to be caged in here for it’s life. Absolutely horrifying. I hope the Sea World tragedy has people thinking more about the cruelty of wild animals in captivity, unless it is the only way to spare their lives: even if the whale, etc. was bred in captivity.

    i had to write a summary about a newspaper article about this for my 6th grade class at watsonville. it’s a half an hour drive from where i live and we almmost never go there!

    @mosniper831 3 hours?? That’s nothing!! For us it’s a 12 hour flight and then a 3 hour drive! Stop whining and go down there 😉
