Miniatures is the Monterey Museum of Art’s annual exhibition fundraiser. Celebrate our local community of artists, all Museum Members, who generously donate original artwork in support of the Museum. This year, Miniatures is presented in galleries throughout our Pacific Street location. A diverse selection of paintings, photographs, prints, sculpture, and mixed media works will be on display and for raffle. Miniatures 2015 also features an interactive artmaking area for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
Everyone has the opportunity to win their favorite pieces by purchasing raffle tickets. Miniatures raffle tickets are $5 each, or $30 for seven. Tickets will be available until January 15 at 5:00 pm, with winners announced online by January 22.
Again this year we are maximizing Miniatures 2015 by celebrating the artists who received the highest number of tickets the previous year, with Miniatures Big Ticket. Raffle tickets for these artworks are available for $25 each or $100 for five. During the Miniatures 2015 closing event on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 5:30 pm, we will have a live drawing for the Big Ticket works. Miniatures tickets will be available until 5:00 pm that evening.
The Museum is grateful to all the artists participating in Miniatures to raise funds, enabling the Museum to present dynamic exhibitions, conserve collection artworks, develop meaningful educational experiences, and to serve broader audiences.

Community Food Drive
Share your holiday with those in need in our community. We’re proud to partner with the Food Bank for Monterey County once again to host a food drive. Non-perishable food items may be dropped off at our Pacific Street location through January 15, 2016.
