There’s one hole where you won’t hear golf claps: the 15th.
Complete with matching T-shirts and a leather couch, that’s where you’ll find Club 15.
“We decided one year to come out here and we watched amateurs kinda getting passed by and we thought it was kind of a shame,” said group founder Scott Larson. “We thought, ‘What if we cheered for them like everybody is cheering for the pros?'”
The group has grown over the last decade and a half since it started and attracts celebrities over to the sidelines between teeing off.
“They are passionate,” said musician Huey Lewis as he cracked open a beer handed to him by one of the club members. “I’m actually a few holes away, but why not?”
